In
conjunction with the Mayor's Road Home initiative and the Denver Department of
Human Services, Warren Village was awarded a grant for $300,000 to operate the
Warren Village First Step program, which will provide housing, support and education
to approximately 19 low-income women and their children. Participants are women
and children who were unable to meet the criteria for the Traditional Warren Village
Program located at 1323 Gilpin Street. Warren Village will also collaborate with
The Gathering Place and The Empowerment Program.
