Alumni AssociationThe
Warren Village Alumni Association is an organization of former residents who are
committed to continued success and support. Goals include: - Support the
continuing success of the members
- Share success stories with current and future
residents, as well as with the community
- Support current residents through
volunteer and/or financial contributions
Membership benefits include:
- Informative newsletter.
- Attend adult evening classes with childcare provided.
- Utilize Family Services for assistance with job or house search or resource
referral.
- Networking and support at meetings.
- Special Alumni Association
functions (meetings, parties, picnics.)
- Participate in the annual Warren Village
Holiday Shops
- Placement on the "special event invitation list." This allows
you to be invited to events such as Denver Nuggets games, Colorado Avalanche games,
United Artist movies, and to participate in special offers such as Thanksgiving
Dinner baskets, Easter baskets, or other holiday baskets.
- You may eligible
for sponsorship of scholarships for higher education.
- You may be eligible
for short-term emergency child care assistance when available.
Membership
RequirementsAll former residents of Warren Village in good standing are considered
to be "alumni." "Active" members are those who: - attend two general meetings,
complete five hours of volunteer service at Warren Village and pay a $25 membership
fee.
OR - attend two general meetings of the
association or two committee meetings of the Warren Village Alumni Association,
complete twenty hours of community service (ten hours at Warren Village, ten hours
elsewhere).
