Openings:Job Title: Lead Maintenance Worker Fulltime,
Non-Exempt PositionWarren Village is a not-for-profit that
serves low-income single parents and their children through HUD subsidized housing,
a self-sufficiency program and a childcare/early childhood education program.
The Lead Maintenance Worker position is responsible for performing the duties
of assigning tasks to and assisting the maintenance worker in performing various
maintenance tasks to maintain safe, functional and aesthetic standards in the
buildings and grounds of Warren Village. GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: -
Implement Warren Village mission through communications and interactions with
all residents, staff, and visitors.
- Perform various maintenance and repair
tasks, including light electrical, plumbing, patching, painting, light carpentry,
and snow and trash removal.
- Assist and assign tasks to maintenance staff
to accomplish all maintenance needs according to professional standards in a timely
fashion.
- Responsible for creating and/or implementing daily, monthly,
quarterly and annual preventive maintenance schedules.
- Address all emergency
maintenance needs either with in-house staff, or by contacting appropriate vendors.
- Anticipate maintenance needs by conducting daily walkthroughs of property.
- Maintain tool and supply inventories.
- Responsible for safe
condition of buildings and grounds, including snow removal.
- Demonstrate
responsible professional behavior with the ability to work independently or as
a team member.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Applicant must have (5) years experience in maintenance, either in a lead
or supervisory position. Experience in light electrical, plumbing, patching,
painting and common repair work necessary. Candidate must be able to work independently
and as part of a team that is comprised of volunteers, staff, and residents. Basic
computer literacy is necessary to utilize email, online ordering, etc. Ability
to lift at least 70 pounds and ability to perform all maintenance functions. A
Colorado driver's license and a clean background check are required. Professional
appearance required. SALARY/BENEFITS: We offer a competitive salary
and benefit package. Work week is Monday through Friday 7 AM to 4 PM with some
