Sandy Martin Hired as Chief Development Officer

Warren Village is pleased to announce the hiring of Sandy Martin as Chief Development Officer. Sandy brings more than 25 years of experience in the non-profit, government and human services sectors. Her expertise in project management and non-profit fundraising make her a perfect fit for Warren Village.

“I am thrilled to have this opportunity to work together. Sandy brings a depth of experience and a wealth of compassion,” said Sue Mohrman, President and CEO of Warren Village.

Previously, Sandy served as executive director of Colorado Bright Beginnings; director of Jefferson County Head Start Program; community outreach and communications manager for the Fitzsimmons Redevelopment Authority; and human services director for the city of Arvada.

Ms. Martin holds a Masters of Public Administration from the University of Colorado and a Bachelor of Arts degree in human services from Metro State College in Denver. Awards of distinction include “Business Woman of the Year” from the Arvada/ Northwest Business & Professional Women’s Organization; Denver Regional Council of Governments Innovations Award for Private/Public Partnership; and the U.S. Dept. of Health & Human Services Regional Director’s Award for the development and implementation of the 700-person volunteer program.
