Supports women and their children experiencing homelessness
or poverty by providing safe daytime refuge and resources for self-sufficiency.

Provides
self-sufficiency services, counseling, interpreting services for the deaf, teen
parent education, and shelter for abused teens and the homeless. -
Jeffco Action Center
Provides immediate response to basic human needs
and promotes self-sufficiency through a continuum of emergency services. -
Mi Casa Resource Center for Women, Inc.
Promotes economic self-sufficiency
for women through training, job placement and referrals. Prevention/intervention
programs for youth. -
Providence Network
Christian-based transitional home for low-income
abused women and children who are leaving domestic violence situations. -
STRIDE: Families Achieving Economic Self-Sufficiency
Enables low-income
individuals and families to become economically self-sufficient and independent
of government and community sponsored assistance for basic needs. -
Tri-County Workforce Services
Provides a consolidated system of free,
public-funded services for assisting individuals with career planning, employment
and referrals. Serving Jefferson, Clear Creek and Gilpin counties, Colorado.

Serves
homeless and runaway youth in metro Denver. -
Volunteers of America
Provides homeless and senior services, food distribution,
meals-on-wheels, battered women's shelter and services, and emergency assistance
for paroled offenders. -
Women's Bean Project
A stepping stone toward outside employment and
personal and economic self-sufficiency for women who come from backgrounds of
